Follow the current process from finding a home through move-in day.
Application-to-Move-In Roadmap
The required prescreen gives you useful preliminary feedback and lets management coordinate showings before you pay for the formal application.
Step 1
Review the listing and criteria, select the property and payment structure, then complete the required five-minute prescreen using self-reported information. No documents or fee are required.
Step 2
Every listed adult completes a separate prescreen. The household remains pending—not declined—until all adults finish or management corrects the roster. Management then reviews the household and any matching alternatives.
Step 3
Management sends up to three approved showing choices. RSVP for one and add the calendar event; a showing with no RSVPs will not take place.
Step 4
Each adult completes the secure paid application. Management reviews verified identity, income, rental, credit, and screening information; the formal decision—not the prescreen—determines eligibility.
Step 5
If selected and approved, review the holding agreement and approved paperwork, then follow the provider-hosted payment instructions by the written deadline. The property becomes pending when management records the holding deposit.
Step 6
Transfer utilities, provide proof of the required $300,000 renter-liability coverage, complete the inspection and paperwork, provide certified funds, sign the lease, and receive the keys.
Reservation
The holding deposit is the full standard security-deposit amount for the property, due by the deadline stated in the written approval. If the applicant backs out after signing, the payment is forfeited. If Elite Rental Homes cannot deliver the home, the payment is refunded. The separate signed holding agreement controls the exact terms.
Formal Review
The prescreen is an educational, preliminary review based on self-reported information from the submitting person. Formal review uses verified information for every adult resident. If a denial, conditional decision, or nonselection is based in whole or in part on a consumer report, the written notice will identify the consumer-reporting agency and its contact information, explain dispute and free-report rights, and include the score source, date, range, and key factors when required. One assigned notification owner prevents duplicate notices; automated formal-decision emails remain disabled until the exact notice is reviewed and approved.
